Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 4, 2026

Introduction

JsonDevKit ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website located at jsondevkit.com(the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Service. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

Data Processing — Browser-Side Only

All JSON processing performed by JsonDevKit runs entirely within your web browser. When you paste, upload, or type JSON data into any of our tools, that data is processed locally using client-side JavaScript. No JSON input, output, or intermediate data is transmitted to our servers or any third-party service. Your data never leaves your machine.

This means we have no ability to access, read, store, or recover the content you process using our tools. If you close your browser tab or clear your browser storage, any data held in the tool is permanently gone.

No User Accounts or Personal Data Collection

JsonDevKit does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information to use the Service. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information through the use of our tools.

We do not implement any user tracking, profiling, or behavioural analytics on our website. There are no analytics platforms (such as Google Analytics) currently installed on the Service.

Server Logs

JsonDevKit is hosted on Vercel. Like most web hosting providers, Vercel automatically collects standard server log information when you visit our website. This may include:

  • Your IP address
  • Browser type and version (user agent string)
  • The pages you request
  • Date and time of your visit
  • Referring URL

These logs are collected and managed by Vercel as part of their standard hosting infrastructure. We use this information solely for the purposes of maintaining the security and performance of the Service. Server logs are retained according to Vercel's data retention policies. We do not correlate server logs with any other data to identify individual users.

Cookies and Advertising

JsonDevKit uses Google AdSense (publisher ID: ca-pub-6464220354105487) to display advertisements on certain pages of the Service. Google AdSense and its partners may set cookies on your device to serve personalised advertisements based on your browsing history and interests. These cookies are set by Google, not by JsonDevKit.

The types of cookies that may be set by Google AdSense include:

  • Advertising cookies: Used to deliver advertisements relevant to your interests and to limit the number of times you see a particular advertisement.
  • Analytics cookies: Used by Google to measure interactions with advertisements served on the Service.
  • Preference cookies: Used to remember your settings and preferences related to advertisements.

JsonDevKit itself does not set any first-party cookies for tracking or analytics purposes. Any cookies present on the Service originate from Google AdSense or its advertising partners.

You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Please note that blocking advertising cookies may result in less relevant advertisements but will not affect the functionality of our tools.

Third-Party Services

The only third-party service integrated into JsonDevKit is Google AdSense. We do not share any data with other third parties. Google AdSense's use of cookies and data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review Google's privacy policy to understand how they process data collected through advertising cookies.

Children's Privacy

JsonDevKit is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since we do not collect personal information from any users, this policy applies equally to all visitors regardless of age.

Your Rights Under the GDPR (European Economic Area)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Since JsonDevKit does not collect or store personal data, most data subject rights (such as access, rectification, and erasure) are not applicable in practice. However, with respect to personalised advertising cookies set by Google AdSense:

Your Rights Under the CCPA (California)

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). JsonDevKit does not sell personal information. Since we do not collect or store personal data, there is no personal information to disclose, delete, or opt out of selling.

If you believe we hold any personal data about you and wish to make a data deletion request, you may contact us at hello@jsondevkit.com. We will respond to verified requests within 45 days, though in practice we do not store personal data that would be subject to deletion.

Data Security

Because all JSON processing occurs in your browser, there is no user-submitted data stored on our servers to secure. Our website is served over HTTPS to ensure that communications between your browser and our servers are encrypted. We take reasonable measures to maintain the security of the Service itself, including keeping our dependencies up to date and following security best practices in our deployment pipeline.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
